About the course
Course content
The following topics are included: Development of the universe, creation of the elements in stars, the solar system, chemical and biological development of life and the human species. Old and new understanding of space, time, matter, interactions and causality are discussed. Aspects of the history of science and philosophys of science are given.
Learning outcome
The student is offered a description of the basic models concerning macro and micro cosmos, including an understanding of natural science as a method.
Learning methods and activities
Lectures (4 hours per week) and exercises (2 hours per week).
