About the course

Course content

The framework of the course is research seminars. Each student present two progress seminars, 1) early in the studies to discuss the scientific plan, and 2) towards the end of the studies to discuss results and interpretations. In addition there will be seminars for the purpose of discussing current research literature and important scientific topics. The seminars require active involvement and participation from the students. Professors and PhD students will also present their research at the seminar.

Learning outcome

On completion of the course students should be familiar with pollution as a scientific field, and have an good understanding of their own master deegree work.

Learning methods and activities

Seminar: 4 semesters - 45 hours each semester, mandatory (participation on min. 75% of the seminars)
