About the course

Course content

The course gives an introduction to research methods in science and mathematics education. It contains perspectives on research, various types of research design and methods for collection and analysis of qwantitative and qualitative data. The attending students' master projects will be central in the teaching of the course.

Learning outcome

The course aims at enabling the student in doing research in education, and in consider research literarure in the field.

Learning methods and activities

The course consists of lectures and seminars, based on the students' research questions, data collection and analysis for their master degree project.
