About the course
Course content
The content will vary but will adress research problems related to inclusion and exclusion, diversity and marginality, deviance and social problems. It may adress the challenges that specific groups are confronted with, such as disabled people or ethnic minorities, or it can discuss similarities and differences across groups. The course can also adress theoretical perspectives of relevance to this field of research, policy trends, etc. Further information about the academic content will be presented when the course is announced. Participants are supposed to write a paper linked to the course content but also related to the participant's own PhD-dissertation. A draft paper should be sent in by the announced dead-line, and presented and discussed during the course days. A final version should be sent in for evaluation after the course within the announced dead-line.
Learning outcome
The course is expected to give participants advanced overview about a selected topic within research on exclusion, inclusion, deviance, diversity and marginality.
