About the course
Course content
The course gives a further introduction to Spanish grammar with emphasis on theoretical issues as well as practical use of the language.
Learning outcome
The students should be able to explain central grammatical notions in Spanish linguistics. They should be familiar with central differences between Spanish and Norwegian grammar, as well as some of the differences between varieties of Spanish. Furthermore, the students should be able to analyse linguistic aspects of various texts. They should develop their communicative competence in written and spoken Spanish, including competence in phonetics, phonology, syntax and pragmatics.
Learning methods and activities
Lectures and group sessions. The students will work with conversation exercises in pairs and in groups. A good progression depends on the students' degree of participation in lectures and group sessions.
