Ethics; how to assess economic goals and needs between generations? The notion of sustainable development. Environmental regulation when and how? Optimal pollution control. Efficient utilisation of the environment. The theory on optimal management and use of renewable and non-renewable natural resources. Valuation of the environment. International environmental agreements.
