About the course

Course content

This course introduces the students to more advanced treatment of microeconomic research questions. Game theories are used to analyze companies’ selection of strategies in situation of mutual dependence.

Learning outcome

Students should have knowledge of the main characteristics of game theory, and be able to apply game theory to solve problems, particularly related to companies’ selection of business strategies.

Learning methods and activities

4 hours of lectures every week and 2 hours of practical assignments every second week.
Compulsory activity: 1 approved term paper. The term paper can be written as a joint project by up to 4 students.
