About the course

Course content

Main topics are: Uncertainty analysis. Concept development. Project evaluation. Analysis of benefit. Involvement in planning. Flexibility and cost development. Change management. Dealing with conflicts.

Learning outcome

The course shall give the students knowledge about challenges in the front-end of projects, including use of methods for project analysis.

Learning methods and activities

Folder evaluation will be the basis for the final grade in the course. The folder consists of a written final exam (50%) and a term paper (50%). The result of the parts is given in percentages, but the final grade will be given as a grade by letter. In the case of a postponed exam the written exam may be replaced by an oral one.
