About the course

Course content

Basic theory, functional and stochastic models. Aerotriangulation: Planning and execution, GPS and INS support. Quality assessment. Digital photogrammetry and photogrammetric workstations. Close-range photogrammetry. Laser scanning.

Learning outcome

The course shall give extensive theoretical and practical knowledge of methods of measuring and calculation in photogrammetry.

Learning methods and activities

Lectures. Computing and laboratory assignment. A subset of the assignments counts 30 % in the final grade. The lectures and exercises are in English when students who do not speak Norwegian take the course. If there is a re-sit examination, the examination form may be changed from written to oral.
