Course content

Transport policy topics. Travel pattern and travel surveys. Transport modelling with emphasis on four step modelling. Public transport.

Learning outcome

To provide knowledge and understanding of important topics and methods in transportation planning, with emphasis on transport modelling.

Learning methods and activities

Class lectures, teamwork, seminars and exercises. The exercises are weighted 40% when giving final marks. Teaching language is Norwegian. If there is a re-sit examination, the examination form may be changed from written to oral.
