Knowledge:
Use scientific methods in the implementation of a independent work in a research field.

Skills:
Students will be able to prepare a project plan with milestones, reporting partial results and write a thesis in accordance with established standards.

General competence:
Documented scientific qualifications through completion of a master thesis in a research field.

Learning methods and activities

The student will perform an independent thesis work under supervision. The thesis may fully or partly be completed at an external company or institution, in agreement with the supervisor. The thesis may be performed as a cooperation between two students.
