Course content

Project analysis. Project evaluation. Strategic and tactical management. Project success factors. Risk analysis. Contract strategy. Profitability analysis. Change management.

Learning outcome

Knowledge:
The candidate shall have knowledge about challenges in the front-end of projects, use of methods for project analysis in the front end and methods for project evaluation.

Skills:
The candidate is able to use methods for project analysis in the front end and understand how the results can be used.

General competence:
The candidate can understand the importance of the front end of projects.

Learning methods and activities

Lectures and exercises. The final grade will be given as a grade by letter, based on a written final exam (100%). In the case of a postponed exam the written exam may be replaced by an oral one.
