About the course

Course content

The topics will be related to the process industry (energy utilisation, process integration), oil/gas (LNG, gas processing, multi phase transport, and gas hydrates), fishery and aquaculture (refrigeration systems), food industry (processing, drying, heat pumping and refrigeration systems) and refrigeration industry (environmentally friendly heat pumps end refrigeration systems). The interaction between modelling, simulation and laboratory activity will be emphasized (laboratories of dewatering, refrigeration, food engineering and multi phase flow).

Learning outcome

The student shall learn to deepen his knowledge of a specific topic within a chosen field. This is performed by scientific methods, i.a. finding completing knowledge through litterature studies and other references and combining this with existing knowledge. The student shall learn to perform a larger indepentendt project work, project plan including milestones, reporting of part achievements and the writing of a report according to agreed standards.
