Course content
This subject addresses the systems analysis of environmental issues from a technical, economic and industrial perspective. It makes use of life-cycle assessment, input-output analysis, systems engineering, material flow analysis, cost-benefit analysis, risk analysis or related techniques. It addresess technical systems, products, households or organisations.
Learning outcome
The project gives students knowledge and skills to address scientific problems and to report results. Learning includes the application of industrial ecology methods towards practical, interdisciplinary problem solving or in scientific work.
