About the course

Course content

One topic of 7,5 sp or two topics of 3,75 sp is to be selected from the following list:
Applied rock mechanics,
Rock mechanics related to coal mining,
Engineering geological planning,
Engineering geological laboratorory methods,
Hydrogeology, Geochemistry,
Engineering geology soil.

Learning outcome

The course is intended to offer the students an opportunity of detailed study of selected topics within engineering geology and rock mechanics.

Learning methods and activities

Guided self study, in some cases supplemented by exercises, seminars and individual lectures. The course will be held in English if international students attend. Postponed exam is held within the end of the exam period.

Courses offered by the Department within the present course of study, or similar background.
