About the course
Course content
Subjects cover recycling and connected areas where the Department possesses competence. Possible fields for studies and project may be: Groundwater problems. Spread of pollution. Contaminated soil. Waste disposal. Environmental problems associated with heavy industry. Mineral producion and the oil industry.
Learning outcome
The course will teach students to work systematically and independently with a specified problem or topic by employing scientific methods. Students will learn how to document their work and express their results by writing a final project report.
Learning methods and activities
Supervised project work.
Recommended previous knowledge
Subjects from the Department of Geology and Mineral Resources Engineering offered to students following Studieretning Miljø- og Naturressursteknikk, or possessing an equivalent level of knowledge.
