About the course

Course content

The master's thesis is an independent academic work of moderate proportions often conducted in close cooperation with an industrial partner. The theme is chosen in collaboration with a tutor. The master's thesis demands independence, a well-developed critical sense, and is a first taste of methodical, academic training. Thesis subjects outside one of the professors fields of expertise will only be approved in exceptional cases.

Learning methods and activities

Individual supervision.

Form of examination: Thesis and oral presentation. The grade given on the thesis may be adjusted after the oral presentation.
The thesis should preferably be written in English.
