Course content
The course includes topics like: Innovation in organizations, intrapreneurship and intra-organizational development projects, the connection between organization and innovation, innovation and design, and how communication- and decision-making-processes influence innovative processes in organizations, new organizational forms, service innovation, information management, and open business models.
Learning outcome
The goal of the course is to give the students an overview of, and understanding of, central problems and methods regarding innovation, product development and information management in existing organizations. Successful completion of the course will enable graduates to participate in the management of innovation processes in organizations.
Learning methods and activities
The course uses both lectures and compulsory exercises. Some parts of the lectures may be done in the form of seminars. Grades are based 100% on exercises. The course is run in English. Successful completion of the course requires English skills equivalent to a TOEFL score of 600 or better.

Recommended previous knowledge
This course assumes a basic knowledge of organization theory and organizational behavior. Requires TIØ4165 - Marketing Management or similar background.
