About the course
Course content
The course addresses product and service development in established companies, and focus on company challenges related to organization and management of customer and user interaction as well as third party collaboration throughout the different stages of the development process. Models for successful market and customer orientation, strategies for financial funding of product development and innovation, together with portfolio management of development projects is adressed in addition to business models and intellectual property rights in relation to commercialization of company technology, products and services.
Learning outcome
The course gives an introduction to organization and management of product and service development and how to facilitate corporate innovation and entrepreneurship in interaction with customers and third parties.
Learning methods and activities
The course has mandatory assignments to be completed. Written exam. If there is a re-sit examination, the examination form may be changed from written to oral.
