About the course
Course content
The course focus organizational development as designed and led learning processes in organizations. A model of the OD-process is presented, emphasizing participation, learning and the interaction between the organization and external consultants/change agents. The course also gives an understanding of practical practical tools and work forms often used in particiaptive change processes.
Learning outcome
The course will develop understanding and skills in planning and leading OD processes. The theoretical platform is organizational theory and individual and collective learning processes. A combination of theoretical understanding and practical use is emphasized.
Learning methods and activities
The teaching is based on high student involvement. The lectures will shift between short lectures, group discussions and plenary discussions. The student writes a term paper based on a real company case, where they make an initial organizational analysis and a plan for the change processes based on identified challenges.
Recommended previous knowledge
TIØ4265 Strategic Management, or similar background.
