About

About the course

Course content

A broad introduction to modern organic chemistry will be given. Special emphasis will be put on reactions of synthetic importance and reactions, which have not been lectured in the earlier courses.

Learning outcome

The course covers the theoretical basis for the chemical reactions that are important in the synthesis of organic compounds. By solving assigned problems, the students will learn to design multi step synthesis.

Learning methods and activities

If there is a re-sit examination, the examination form may be changed from written to oral.
