About the course

Course content

Project work in physical chemistry (nonequilibrium termodynamics, quantum chemistry, computational chemistry, chemometrics or spectroscopy) corresponding to 15 sp. The Project theme is chosen together with teacher within the following topics:
Thermodynamics (Prof. Signe Kjelstrup).
Computational Chemistry (Prof. Per-Olof Åstrand).
Quantum Chemistry (Prof. Henrik Koch).
Chemometrics (Prof. Bjørn Alsberg).
Vibrational spectroscopy (Associate Prof. Morten Bjørgen).

Learning outcome

The project aims at giving the students in depth knowledge in the chosen theme and experience in research based project work.

Learning methods and activities

Individual or group based project work. English teaching by request.
