Course content

Important subjects are polymerization kinetics, step growth polymerization, free radical polymerization, ionic polymerization and coordination polymerization, the copolymer equation, polymer materials, structure, intermolecular forces, characterization methods, physical properties.

Learning outcome

The subject aims to give an introduction to chemistry and methods for preparation of polymers and a description of their physical properties.
