About the course
Course content
The course consists of two chosen topics, each of 3.75 stp, giving the total of 7.5 stp. The topics are chosen from the departments specialization topics or from other departments in consultancy with the lecturer in charge of the specialization course. Typical topics are:
Gas purification, Reactor modelling, Membrane separation and adsorption fundamentals, Crystallization and particle design, Process simulation, advanced course, Thermodynamics, advanced course, Special topics in chemical engineering, Environmental and energy catalysis, Industrial colloidal chemistry, Modelling of catalytic reactions.
Learning outcome
The goal is to provide insight and detailed knowledge within the area of the chosen subject.
Learning methods and activities
The modules are given as lectures, seminars, problem sessions, group- or individual studies. Postponed exam is held within the end of the exam period.
Recommended previous knowledge
Basic knowledge in Chemical Process Technology.
