About the course

Course content

The specialization consists of modules giving a total sum 7.5 stp. Modules are chosen from the following list:
Pulping: Basics, properties and production (3,75 ECTS).
Papermaking: Basics, properties and production (3,75 ECTS).
Chemical engineering, special topics (3,75 ECTS). Biorefining and biomaterials 3,75 ECTS. Special topics from other advanced courses at the Department or other departments/faculties may also be chosen.

Learning outcome

The goal is to provide insight and detailed knowledge within the area of the chosen subject.

Learning methods and activities

The modules are given as lectures, seminars, problem sessions, group- or individual studies. Postponed exam is held within the end of the exam period.
