About the course
Course content
Prestressed concrete, material properties, prestressing methods, Design in ULS and SLS. Prefabricated concrete structures, structural system and element types.
Learning outcome
The subject will give basic knowledge to principles and methods for design of various types of concrete structures, and theoretical background for the methods.
Learning methods and activities
Lectures and excercises. If there is a re-sit examination, the examination form may be changed from written to oral. The lectures and exercises are in English when students who do not speak Norwegian take the course.
