About the course
Course content
The course is planned to be lectured every second year. It will be offered next time fall 2011. Contact the lecturer for more information. The focus is on the network layer in ad hoc networks. It includes: Routing, capacity estimation, simulation and measurements, QoS, the interaction between directional antennas and routing, power control and routing.
Learning outcome
The overall goal is solid knowledge on state of the art in the various aspect of routing in ad hoc networks. One important facet is the interaction between network layer functions and functions in higher and lower layers.
Learning methods and activities
Lectures, presentations by the participants, written reports and/or practical exercises. All or parts of course will be conducted as intensive seminars and/or by distance learning.

TTM4150 Internet Network Architecture or equivalent
