Course content

This course is assembled from two modules of 3.75 study points each, all together 7.5 study points. Each student shall in agreement with the his adviser for his/her project work select two modules of 3.75 study points each from the following list:
TMM6 Composite structures and TMM8 Polymer Materials.
For product development, specialization must at least one of the module above be selected. As module no. 2 may the student in agreement with his adviser select among modules of size 3.75 study points from other specializations in the department (TMM4505, TMM4525, TMM4535).

Learning outcome

This course gives deeper understanding in key subjects related to the actual product development project work.

Learning methods and activities

The modules are thought as guided self studies accompanied with a few seminars during the semester. The lectures and exercises are in English when students who do not speak Norwegian take the course. Postponed exam is held within the end of the exam period. If there is a re-sit examination, the examination form may be changed from written to oral.
