About the course

Course content

Seminars will cover the following subjects:
Working with 3D-models. Surface-modelling. Information technology in the modeling process. Computer aided production. Product data management. Documentation.

Learning outcome

The students will develope knowledge of, and skill in use of methodology and tools for product modeling for product design. It will be focused on modeling, documentation, vizualization and production of prototypes.

Learning methods and activities

Lectures, exercises, project, and an oral presentation of the results. The students work individually and in groups.

Specific conditions

Admission to a programme of study is required:
Industriell design (MIDESIG)
