About the course

Course content

Physics: Electromagnetism, MR, radioactivity. Geophysics: Reflection and refraction seismics, gravimetry and magnetometry, electrical and electromagnetic methods, radiometry.

Learning outcome

Ca. 25% of the course consists of a continuation of TFY4102. The rest, ca. 75% of the cyllabus, gives a fundamental introduction to geophysical methods.

Learning methods and activities

Lectures and exercises. 2/3 of the exercises must be approved before the exam. The exam can be changed from written to oral at the postponed exam (continuation exam).
