About the course

Course content

The student may select two topics, each of 3,75 credit points from the following list: Applied reservoir simulation (JK/OSH), Fractured reservoirs (OT), PVT/EOR/Gas (CHW), Reservoir evaluation (TAJ), Reservoir physics (OT), Well Logging-Petrophysics (HL). A final report summarizing the results of the topics is required. One week field course may be included. Field courses which are offered are: Svalex, 3,75 sp, Petrox, 3,75 sp, Omanex, 3,75 sp.

Learning outcome

The course gives a deeper understanding of problems within reservoar engineering and petrophysics.

Learning methods and activities

The topics are given as lectures, eventually with exercises, seminars or self studies. Postponed exam is held within the end of the exam period.
