Course content
The course provides basic introduction to acoustic waves, transformers, and techniques for audio recording and audio reproduction, moreover methods for calculation of audio behaviour in rooms, with a special focus on practical consequences for music performance.
Learning outcome
The course should provide basic insight in acoustic communication and sound systems, with special focus on practical possibilities and limitations for music performance and audio recording.
Learning methods and activities
Lectures: 2 hours per wekk for 12 weeks. Exercises. Midterm exams will be a practical assignment, and the result of this assigment will be presented for example as a report or a music production.
