About the course
Course content
The course presents modern methods and principles for design and implementation of digital filters.
Possible subjects are selected from the following list:
Multirate-filters, filter banks, non-linear filters, multi-dimensional filters, filter structures and finite wordlength effects, methods for filter synthesis, applications.
Mandatory computer projects.
Learning outcome
The goal is to provide filter theory and filtering techniques to a designer so that she can make optimal choices and thus adapted constructions for different applications and implementation platforms.
