About
About the course
Course content
LIDAR (light detection and ranging) is a technology that that achieves high resolution optical profiling in 2 or 3 dimensions using range gated imaging techiques. Current research is focused on the use of hyperspectral illumination for object characterisation and the use of high speed matrix detectors.
The essential topics related to Lidar will be covered in the course.
Learning outcome
R&D personnel, which requires an overview of LIDAR technology.
