Course content
Dimensional analysis, Buckinghams Pi theorem and scaling. Regular and singular pertubation. Calculus of variation. Equations of applied mathematics: the diffusion and wave equations. Symmetry and conservation laws.
Learning outcome
The course shall give the students a theoretic foundation and skills necessary to modell fysical and technical systems.
