About the course
Course content
The specialisation project consists of one term project of 15 SP.
Learning outcome
The student will learn how to acquire specialized knowledge in a selected theme or problem within the field of information security by applying scientific work methods for gaining knowledge of principles, methods, protocols, algorithms and contemporary tools for securing information in distributed systems and telecommunication networks. The tasks include searching for and selecting relevant literature and other sources of information, then combine this with own knowledge. The student will also learn how to carry out an individual technical project, by presenting a project plan with milestones, report partial results on a regular basis, and write a project report in accordance with accepted standards.
Learning methods and activities
Supervised individual project work on a task description approved by the professor.

The courses TTM4135 Information Security, TTM4137 Wireless Network Security, or equivalent level of proficiency.
