About the course

Course content

The specialisation project consists of a term project of 15 SP.

Learning outcome

The student will learn how to acquire specialized knowledge in a specific topic within telematics and society (sosio-technical problems with a focus on the interplay between telematics, orgianisation and society) by applying scientific methods. The methods can be from CSCW in addition to telematics (networks and services), and general ICT. The student shall be able to select feasible methods such as future workshops, ethnographic informed fieldstudies, use of prototypes and action research.
The tasks involved are searching and studying relevant litterature, using other relevant information sources and combining this with own knowledge. The student will also learn how to work independently with a project, present a project plan with milestones, report partial results on a regular basis, and write a project report in accordance with accepted standards.
