Learning outcome

In-depth knowledge of the engineering sciences used as tools in Networks and Services technologies and the capability to apply these at an advanced level in the specialisations. Broad and in-depth knowledge of science and technology, which is common for the field of Networks and Services, and the skills to use this knowledge effectively within the fields of specialisations. Thorough knowledge of paradigms, methods and tools as well as the skills to actively apply this knowledge for analysing, modeling, simulating, designing and performing research. More detailed learning objectives are defined related to each specialisation.

Learning methods and activities

Independent work with a development- and/or research focus. As a main rule meetings between tutor and student should be held every week. Meetings via telephone- or videoconference is acceptable. Responsible teacher (if different from tutor) should participate in these meetings at least once a month.
