Course content

The master thesis will be either - a research work - designed as a digital building process in cooperation with relevant external partners

Learning outcome

Knowledge:

  • How to specialize within a particular topic by using scientific methods.

Skills:

  • Data collection and handling, literature search and review, as well as combining this with theoretical knowledge.

General competence:

  • Complete a comprehensive project, including to prepare a plan with milestones, point out results and write a report based on existing norms.

Re-take is regulated in NTNU Study Regulations §5-9.

The Faculty of Engineering's standard AI-declaration must be submitted upon thesis completion.

Required previous knowledge

Students must have passed at least 60stp of the two last study years of the study program "Digital building processes"

Course materials

Relevant literature for the project work will be selected by the student (under supervision of the responsibleteacher)
