Course content

The course explores a central theme within German linguistics, literature or civilization, or an interdisciplinary theme that includes more than one of the three disciplines. A more detailed description of the academic content will be available at the beginning of the semester.

Learning outcome

To develop knowledge and understanding of an interdisciplinary theme or interdisciplinary issues. To develop written and oral proficiency in German and abilities in academic argumentation.

Learning methods and activities

Lectures/seminars, discussions, supervision. Assessement: home exam, 4-6 pages.

Compulsory assignments

• 1 written assignment, approx. 3 pages

Recommended previous knowledge

Courses at TYSK1000 level, completed one-year programme in German or equivalent approved education.
