About the course

Course content

The course will give an introduction to adult education and learning as a field of research and practice, and as a priority in education policy. Important topics are: adult education policy, education and training in and for working life, participation, adult immigrants' training as a part of the integration process, and adults' basic skills. It will be possible to continue with further studies in adults' learning and training at master's level.

The course aims to give an introduction to adult education and learning as a field of research and practice, and as a priority in educational policy.

3 hours of lectures/seminars per week.
