About the course

Course content

Hydrological processes. Theories related to modelling processes and computational methods. Measurements, spatial and temporal variability of hydrological processes. Snow and ice. Modelling concepts, model development and implementation. Hydrological prognosis, floods and urban hydrology.

Learning outcome

To give an in depth understanding of selected hydrological processes and computational methods in hydrology.

Learning methods and activities

Seminars, field and computer exercises. Project work that counts for 50% of the grade. The course content and form will to a large degree be adapted to the number of students and the needs of each student.
