Course - Advanced Water and Wastewater Treatment - VM8200
Advanced Water and Wastewater Treatment
About
About the course
Course content
The course is meant to give a more thorough theoretical understanding of the various unit processes used in water and wastewater treatment than what is given in the ordinary MSc-programme - coagulation and precipitation processes, oxidation processes, particle separation processes and biological processes. Treatment methods that have been particularly researched lately will be in focus, for instance membrane processes.
Learning outcome
The student shall develope a thorough theoretical and practical knowledge about drinking water and wastewater treatment processes.
Learning methods and activities
The course is divided in 5-6 concentrated seminars if there are 3 or more students. If fewer, individual teaching will be offered. A report on a given topic will have to be written by the student and presented before The water treatment research group at the department.
Compulsory assignments
- Assigment
