The NOMA Fellowship Programme

NOMA was lauched in 2006 by the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (Norad) to develop and operate master's degree programmes at universities in the South in collaboration with corresponding Norwegian institutions.

NOMA's goal is to educate staff in NGOs and the public and private sectors in the South. The master's programmes supported through NOMA have been established and developed in the South in close collaboration with Norwegian institutions. The needs and priorities of our partner countries in the South are the main guiding force in the development of the different programmes.

The programme is financed by the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (Norad) and is managed by the Norwegian Centre for International Cooperation in HIgher Education (SIU). NOMA has a budget of NOK 343 million. NTNU currently has 9 NOMA programmes to which applications can be made.
