SERBIA - NORWAY SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME

We are pleased to announce scholarships for Master students at the University of Nis.

Applicants are invited to study one or two semesters (5 to 10 months) at the Norwegian University of science and Technology (NTNU) in Trondheim. The number of scholarships may vary from 15 to 30 per year, depending on whether the study period is one or two semesters.

What does it cover?

The scholarship will cover your living expenses for the whole period you are studying in Trondheim. Successful applicants will receive a monthly grant of approx. EURO 1000. The scholarship will also cover your VISA costs, return travel Serbia- Norway and health insurance.

The credits gained at NTNU should be fully recognized as part of your Masters’s degree at the University of Nis. You should apply for one (30 ECTS credits) or two semesters (60 ECTS). Read more about NTNUs academic year/ calendar

You are supposed to follow courses that are taught in English so there is a requirement that you have a good command of English. You should design your study plan at NTNU in cooperation with the responsible faculty staff at Nis.

You will become a part of a large International student community. Each year NTNU receive around 800 exchange students from all over the world. In the beginning of each semester we arrange orientation days during which you will meet both other international students as well as representatives from various student organisations.

Master students from the following faculties at The University of Nis can apply:

Faculty of:

  • Economics
  • Electronic Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Medicine (Click HERE for information on course offerings)
  • Occupational Safety

Preparing for registration:

1. Make a list of the course codes (study plan)

For example:

TDT 4230 Visualization

POL 1003 Environmetal Politics

List of courses taught in English .

(check box for "show only courses taught in english")

Remember to read the required previous knowledge for each course

2. Fill in the application form for exchange students

Follow the instructions given in the application form and submit your application as soon as possible.

Required documents (submitted with the application):

a) Certified copies of the pages of your passport showing your photo, your full name, your date of birth and your nationality

b) Official certified copy of transcripts

c) Confirmation letter for Non- Graduating Student Exchange

d) A letter of motivation (1/2-1 page)
