International master's programmes
Applicants with Norwegian or Nordic citizenship, or who hold a first degree from Norway or one of the other Nordic countries, are required to apply via NTNU's Søknadsweb.

The application deadline is 15 April for admission in the fall semester. However, if you hold a degree from a country other than Norway you have to apply before 1 March. This is to ensure that we have enough time to consider your application.
Applicants with a first degree from Norway or another Nordic country who need a student visa to study in Norway must apply before 15 January. Please see instructions for international students.
Joint Nordic master's programmes
Please note that the deadline is 15 January for ALL applicants, regardless of citizenship. Applicants with Norwegian or Nordic citizenship MUST therefore apply by 15 January to be eligible for admission to a Joint Nordic master's programme.
Erasmus Mundus master's programmes
Admission deadlines are the same for Norwegian, Nordic and international applicants. Please note that the admission deadlines vary by programme, so consult your master's programme of interest for further information.
15 APRIL: Norwegian applicants
If you are a Norwegian citizen and hold a bachelor's degree from Norway. See admission procedures.
1 MARCH: Nordic applicants
The 1 March deadline may apply if you have a bachelor's degree from a Nordic country or are a Nordic citizen. See admission procedures.
15 JANUARY: International applicants
The online application is now closed for international students. Next intake is August 2016, the application form will open autumn 2015.
