Applicants with Norwegian or Nordic Citizenship
International master's programmes
Applicants with a first degree from Norway or one of the other Nordic countries, who also have Norwegian or Nordic citizenship, are required to apply via NTNU's "studweb". Read more about the application process at the Admission Office's webpages.
The application deadline is 15 April for admission in the fall semester.
Applicants with a first degree from Norway or another Nordic country who need a student visa to study in Norway must apply before 1 December. Please see instructions for international students.
Joint Nordic master's programmes
Please note that the deadline is 15 January for ALL applicants, regardless of citizenship. Applicants with Norwegian or Nordic citizenship MUST therefore apply by 15 January to be eligible for admission to a Joint Nordic master's programme.
Erasmus Mundus master's programmes
Admission deadlines are the same for Norwegian, Nordic and international applicants. Please note that the admission deadlines vary by programme, so consult your master's programme of interest for further information.
