Master's Degrees in English

Norwegian/Nordic Applicants

International master's programmes

Applicants with Norwegian or Nordic citizenship, or who hold a first degree from Norway or one of the other Nordic countries, are required to apply via NTNU's Søknadsweb. Read more about the application process here.

The application deadline is 15 April for admission in the fall semester. However, if you hold a degree from a country other than Norway we strongly recommend that you apply before 1 March. This is to ensure that we have enough time to consider your application.

Applicants with a first degree from Norway or another Nordic country who need  a student visa to study in Norway must apply before 1 December. Please see instructions for international students.

Joint Nordic master's programmes

Please note that the deadline is 15 January for ALL applicants, regardless of citizenship. Applicants with Norwegian or Nordic citizenship MUST therefore apply by 15 January to be eligible for admission to a Joint Nordic master's programme.

Erasmus Mundus master's programmes
