Admission requirements
The programme is open to both ordinary degree students and exchange students.
Ordinary degree students
Ordinary degree students must apply through søknadsweb . The deadline for foreign student applications is 1 March, while for students with a Nordic/Norwegian educational background, the deadline is 15 April.
The master programme programme in disability and society is open to students who have completed a bachelor or equivalent within health education and social work, teacher training, or a degree in social sciences.
Possible admission to the study programme requires a minimum of an average grade of C or the equivalent. C is however, not a guarantee for admission.
Please note that degree-seeking students must meet certain admission and language requirements .
Exchange students
Exchange students must apply within 1 May for the autumn semester and 1 October for the spring semester. Use the electronic application form .
Norwegian language requirements
Only the International Master's programmes are taught in English.
- Applicants to other programmes must meet the Norwegian language requirement before admission.
- NTNU offers Norwegian courses that meet this requirement.
- Exchange students do not have to meet NTNU's Norwegian language requirements.
