Admission Requirements
Admission to the Global Politics and Culture specialization requires a Bachelor's degree in the Social Sciences or the Humanities with minimum 80 ECTS in one of the following diciplines:
- Political Science
- Sociology
- Social Anthropology
- History
- Geography
- European Studies
- Economics
- Development Studies
- Cultural Studies
- Cultural Heritage Studies
- Religious Studies
- International Relations
Admission to the Global Technology Management specialization is open to:
- Students with a Bachelor's degree in Technology or Engineering.
- Students who have completed the first three years of their five-year Master's programme in Technology/Engineering. These students may opt into the Master's programme in Globalization by applying to the relevant Study Board(s) of their current programme. They will remain within their original department and graduate with a siv. ing. degree (in their original subject), with a specialization in Globalization.
- International students with equivalent backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
English Language Requirements for international students
TOEFL score: 550 / 230 / 80
IELTS : 6.0
Norwegian applicants are exempted from the langauge requirements.
Application deadlines
Preliminary application deadline for International students (including Quota students): 1st December
Final application deadline for international students (including Quota students): 1st February
Norwegian students: 15th April
The courses start in August every year.
