MSc in Globalization

Global Technology Management

Globalisation is one of today’s most significant trends. Geographical boundaries are disappearing, and companies must be prepared to face new challenges. The Master Program in Technology Management therefore provides skills needed to handle the increasingly important interaction between technology, strategy and global processes. The program is developed specially for students with an engineering bachelor degree, and results in a unique competence for a career in international enterprises. The students will gain a broad and integrated set of capabilities, combining engineering and management competences with a global perspective:

-Technology and engineering competence is fundamental for all technology managers. The program extends the students existing engineering competences in manufacturing, logistics, product development or ICT, and expand their competence to include technology management in global enterprises or projects

-Strategic management competence is a key to success in global operations. The program provides an in-depth understanding of a firm's strategic position and the competence to develop competitive advantage in a global market place

-Globalisation has economical, technological, cultural, social and political dimensions. Understanding of these interrelated dimensions is crucial to manage technology and projects across national boundaries.
