MSc in Industrial Ecology - Master’s Degree Programme, 2 years

Environmental Systems Analysis

- Specialization

This specialization provides students with the ability to apply the analytical tools of Industrial Ecology to a wider range of environmental issues and across different scales from individual production processes through value chains to national economies. Analysis serves to quantify environmental impacts, understand how environmental stresses are produced, and to evaluate proposed solutions or alternative courses of action. Issues in the industry-environment context that are relevant are: energy, waste, industrial parks and networks, as well as sustainable production and consumption. The students are equipped for jobs in research, policy analysis (government, civic actors), and technical analysis in large companies and consultancies.
